Disabled man, dealing with harrassing calls from rent a center

Rent A Center complaint
After agreeing to make a payment every two weeks I'm harrassed on a weekly basis, upon entering the store the associate claims I'm a week behind I still have been paying double pmt's b4 an since then. I'm sick of these phone calls, can a payment be made at any location ?.or on line disabled in new york/rochester.They send their Goohns to my door I'm recovering from a stroke an most of the time I cannot get to the door. disabled 1st is sound to me like even though you have been making two week payments what has happened is that you were a week behind and the two week payment is paying the prevous week and the next week ahead. But it is hard to know with out having the account info. My advise if this is the case is to call the store manager and talk to him/ her and ask if it would be possable to get an extention. They should not have a problem doing that for you, but you will need to make sure that all your payments are ontime from then on. Also rent a center payments can be made safely over the phone with a credit card but not online or at anyother stores. I am sorry that you have had such a problem and hope this helps solve the issues. CAB

If all of the responses by "RAC" are from a Rent-A-Center employee Corporate should be ashamed of themselves. First of all capital letters are considered yelling. So "RAC" is yelling in all of his responses. Secondly their spelling and grammer is horrible. If these are the people running this company no wonder why everyone is have problems.

NOPE YOUR PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE AT THE ORIGINAL STORE SINCE WE ARE NOT INTERMINGELED SO TO SPEAK, HOWEVER YOU CAN REQUEST A TRANSFER OF YOUR ACCOUNT TO A DIFFERENT STORE IF YOUE UNHAPPY WITH THE CURRENT STORE, OR YOU CAN SIMPLY RETURN THE MERCHANDISE!
