I have recently lost my twin sister in a fatal car accident and had to pay for most of the funeral costthat was making me late on my payment. i let rent a cent know what happen they said the understood
but they didn't, the called my work and showed up over and over to harassed me about but payment and *** of my employer almost causing me my job. They are horrible people that lie. Never will I recommend anybody to the ontario, ca rent a center
threating people during a horrible time is a very bad company

Written by lol..., on 10-01-2010 02:29 JUST DONT RENT, lololol...by the tme you get done RENTING from these people you could have saved the money and bought WHAT?!?!? 2 or 3 of what ya renting, whateva people, and most of you DONT read ya agreement all you do is go in the store all excited and let the RAC person break down the agreement to you. NO you cant do that. Thats how ya end up on here complaining, because sometimes they will spit something different to you than whats on ya agreement (been there done that) lol, lesson learned, I managed, saved and PURCHASED from a REAL furniture store. RAC is a last resort store/business and most people constantly forget that... If you don't NEED it and can get by, DO NOT RENT, and you wont end up here  |

Written by super rac employee, on 25-11-2009 13:07 wow...u know what's awesome...well some of you have a good story(probobly made up) but yea we are dicks..we are jerks...but if you could know what I've had to do to families.. especially for the single moms who are barely getting by. but in the end what pays my bills?? doing my job or feeling bad for you? *ding* *ding* uuuuhhh doing my job for 500!...lol. ok but it all works the same way.. rac is a simple company... we rent and collect... ok so u rent and we collect our money, or our items. but I try to feel for half of you.. but my company doesn't pay for feelings..they pay for actions. and plus we know we do some bad things.. that's why we have you sign the arbitration aggreement. but in the end just stop crying.. jeez luise. |

I went there b/c I wanted a specific bed for my daughter that I could not find anywhere else near where i live. But, being a business or not there is such thing as human compassion. That is what is wrong with the world these days. Nobody cares about human beings.... and yes, I had a BAD experience with RAC too. Would I ever go back to them??? NO!!!!!!!! My paycheck got messed up, I called and told the store manager that I would have to make 2 payments the following week. He agreed with no problem. The next day the store was calling me about my payment, and while I was on the phone with them, 2 more employees showed up at my door!!!!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!! Rude does not even begin to cover their attitude. |

Written by dazed and confused, on 13-04-2009 21:06  I had a major medical problem come up over the last week and offered them a partial payment like 19 dollars short of paying them off and they refused my payment and said don't bother now how stupid can u get I offered my last payment and rac refused guess rac doesn't want any money after all huh??? |

Written by paul ray columbus ohio, on 19-03-2009 19:06 this man thinks he is the law. as the manager to columbus,ohio morse rd. store. he thinks he can not honor there contract and call the police to have you arrest for theft. even when you pay for your rental. paul ray is very stupid. before he cleans up some eles door step. make sure you pay for your taxes and your truck notes. on time. you should pay for your own debts. people should know what a fraud you are. pay for your own debts. also clean up your court records to. |

But you have to look at what they have to do for a living they have to do what they are told to do to get a pay check to .Dont you think that they would have jusy as well sat on thier *** in the store and just took a payment or called you and took a time and date that you would be in there to pay.No i guess that you think that they didnt have anything else to do but try and caught your *** at home and start a fuss with you, yes that would just make my day too.Lets just step bad and think for a minute what could i have done that would have made this easier for me.But no one want s to be wrong now do we. |

Written by wife of worker for a living, on 18-03-2009 12:14 I myself would understand where you are coming from.But if you have a family problem and you have to take care of it ,and you have a limited income.Al you have to do is return what you have rented and they would let you put it back up when you are able to pay again.The people that work at the rent a center stores work there because they have to have a job to pay their own bills.They cant do but what the store will let them and all the rent a center stores are not the same.Its just like where you work do they let you do everything that you think that you should but able to do or the way you think that it should be done [NO] so lets no act like children and just do waht we have to do.And as far as having bad credit i can under stand that to things happen in life that we cant control thats life .Times are hard now and everyone should know that.But we can still control how hard they are on us.If you cant pay then leave it and come back when you can.That makes it easier on everyone.It sno one persons problem. So dont judge someone else.There is always a better way to handle things. |

This does not make the company a bad company. When you have commitments such as a mortgage, utilities, loans, credit cards... you have to pay them. Complaining about the bad things that happen to you and not taking responsibility for your debts is incredibly immature. |

Written by shaq, on 02-01-2009 14:44 You need to realize that this company deals with so many who come up with every story in the book to keep from paying the rent money, so when you have someone telling the truth it's hard to believe them. On the flip side people rent because they didn't pay their bills to begin with.....thus having bad credit. So the company should expect no better!!! But as a consumer, if you can't pay for it, answer your phone, let them pick it up!!!! Then they won't harrass you! |
