Rent A Center complaint by K_franklin

rent way which i believe to have been bought out by rent a center adds hidden charges dont deliver new merchandise; i paid for new and got used.they also say they have lifetime re instatment you can pick up where you left off if you need to return you rental at any timeI HAVE BEEN WAITING ON A COMPUTER that i paid on for over a year and they say they have been looking for me a good one. do they mean one that dont have roaches crawling out of it like the refriderator i had to return? or are they just hoping ill go away ? which i will but not before i tell everyone that i know about thier sales tatics. oh by the way when i returned the computer i was because my husband died and i need a couple of months to get things straight and they never gave me back my comp all they gave was excuses that was 1 year ago. so where is the money i already paid? gone thats where,they have no intentions on making it right.

No RENT A CENTER YOU DON"T!!! I HAd a very similar issue with you! After I switched store locations.. All the money I put into a tv was never accounted for!! over 2,000 dollars worth to be exact!! There were so many different prices I was quoted ever time I made my payments(ontime that is) There firing/hiring so *** much because they find people scamming customers!! That's great...but why do you guys fix the problem with the customers that have been victumized by you employees??? You just go on as if nothing ever happend...You can not jusstify that!! I know for a fact that that's what has been going on because your employees tell it all.

LIFETIME REINSTATEMENT MEANS A SIMILAR ITEM REELIVERED WHERE YOU LEFT OFF OR AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE,RENT A CENTER STANDS BEHIND THIS 100%, WHEN WE PURCHASED RENTWAY, WE GOT A LOT OF BAD APPLES IN THAT AQUISITIONM BUT ASK FOR THE 800 NUMBER AND DEMAND THAT THEY HONOR THE AGREEMENT, ITS IN OUR BEST INTEREST TO DO THAT, AND BTW IF WE PROMISE NEW THEN WE NEED TO DELIVER NEW
