Tried calling the store where I applied over a week ago tried calling customer service and emailing no call backs can't get through to customer service deplorable deplorable deplorable customer service I will never be a customer with Rent-A-Center again it is the worst outfit on Earth I am reporting this to social media

I have been having a hard time making my payments. On Thursday I had my sister call and she paid one week.

She told them that I would call on Friday to make my next week's Payment Plus pay late fees. I had to work so I had a friend call and was going to make a $25 payment for the following week they would not accept the payment so they are going to get the *** back because I'm not going to put up with this they bully you and to me I shouldn't have to give the stuff back if they're going to bully people like that and be rude to people on the phone that's not right that's not a way to run business the store in Litchfield Illinois needs to be shut down or they need to change employees

Just want my money back, haven't had or received any product

I just refuse to thru anything with this company, I was actually really pleased with the service in the beginning even though they we're not good and answering questions or even explaining what will follow. The reps were nice, until I wanted to cancel after they withdrew my funds from my card. The behavior just went south, after all its my choice not there' s. I have yet to see or even sign paperwork which is very confusing but have had funds deducted and given a date as to when more will be deducted and I haven't even received anything. So I would just like to cancel and get my 78.48 refunded back to my card, please.

Your company has poor customer service

Your manager for RAC for Indianapolis that is located in the EagleDale Plaza off of Lafayette rd came to my house today on 10/16/18 yelling at me because i missed one payment and i offered to pay more than half of the bill today and catch up the other $7.00 in a couple of days No that wasnt good enough for the fat *** that wanted to keep yelling at me for the merchandise. He can have the piece of crap back as soon as my daughters information is off of the computer and if its still resetting once they get here they can sit and wait for it to be done resetting i dont care how long that takes.

I will keep my business with Aarons they have better customer service, better product and better prices. I have definitely learned a lesson i will never use another Rent A Center again.

I am currently renting a bed set from Rent a Center! When i went to see about getting It they told me about a promotion they had going For the current time. It was a pay three skip one! When i signed all of my paperwork the employee was even telling me about how everything worked! I paid For the furniture on a Friday and they weren’t able to deliver until Wedneaday (although It was supposed to be Tuesday) and because they were a day late i was at work and wasnt able to be Home But luckily my roommate was. Anyway while i was there they had me going all over the place to sign stuff and yes my fault But i forgot mt paper Work there! When i realized i immediately called and they Said they would bring It with them to me when they delivered my stuff... they didn’t. No Big deal.... i know what my paymenrs are and everything....right? No!! Wrong! So After getting my furniture i Even called and talked to the guy about the promo i was in!! Everything was Good... until i had paid the number of payments and It was time For my skip week! They told me i didnt qualify For the promotion because my paperwork wasn’t processed until that Monday and the promotion ended the Saturday before. They also Said they couldn’t go back and give me that because the code would no longer Work! I had It all worked out with my pay checks before hand with the thought that i would get to skip the fourth week! Its very frustrating and almost makes me want to Tell them to come get their stuff and go over to Aarons! I am seriously considering that right now! Also. The mananger was such a Butt about It! Not Good customer service at all! And i haven’t found a way to Even print my paperwork Off or View It! Ugh!

Complaint lack of respect

Josh at the Vandalia, IL rent a center cussed me out and is saying I cussed him out and I did not. I specifically remember hanging up on him because he got beligerant with me. Today, although I have received no calls or anything, he sent someone to my home to tell me my payment is due. That's a bit extreme. A phone call would have sufficed. I paid my payment and I really think that Josh needs to be reprimanded for harassing me. The next time I receive harrassment from him I will have 3 instances where he has harassed me and I will get an order of protection on him. This is absolutely insane!

The manager Wendy Violated my privacy with my daughter

I called the manager Wendy at the reserve street store to talk to her about her using my information from many years ago to gilt trip my daughter Alexis into paying for some mattresses. Saying you know your mom (Jennifer Stevens) was involved with child and family services and if you don’t keep the mattress for the girls to have the beds you won’t get your girls back . She should have never brought up personal information to try to make a sale. It’s very unprofessional. That’s a violation of my hippa privacy laws. By the end of the heated conversation she said you know what Jennifer just have them throw the mattress on the truck . My daughter the customer her name Is Alexis Daw she lives on Ernest st in Missoula, Montana. I just think it was very inappropriate and unprofessional for Wendy to bring me in to the whole conversation. She also said I don’t know the whole store and that may be true . She mentioned she has people in and out of Alexis house Reporting back to her about Alexis situation. I think she has gone beyond being passional to making a personal matter . My daughter Alexis was afraid to call her back after she told Alexis she needed to keep the Mattresses whe Alexi tried to tell her she couldn’t afford them. That is way I called for her. I am also contacting the better bureau business about my complaint. I truly believe that Wendy should have a stern talk and reprimanded for her actions and her professionalism . Pasta tried to call the corporate office of Rent-A-Center to talk to them about this matter I asked if I could talk to someone higher up and she hung up on me . I feel like Alexis and I Jennifer really disrespected by your company I have worked with your company before and I have never been treated like this this has made me very upset my daughter Alexis Should not have felt like she couldn’t call back to resolve the issue she felt like she was being pressured thank you for your time in this matter and I would like to hear back from you have a good day thank you. Yes you need to honor the contract you signed. Thieft of leased property does not excuse you from the legal obligation of making the agreed payments at the agreed time.

All of this is well defined in the Rental Agreement. I would suggest you file a claim with your home owners or renters insurance.

I told my store to come pick my merchandise up after my home was broken into, just because I had other things to deal with and they didn’t care at all to work with me on it. So they told me a specific date and time that they were going to get it.

I stayed home from work all day and nothing. I then get a letter saying that they missed me and that after multiple attempts I have three days to return my merchandise.

So now they aren’t even giving me the regional managers number and said she would probably not call me. Now I’m being threatened to have charges filed against me.Bullshit ***

The rudest rep

I got a washer and dryer from the near by Rent a Center off Floyd Rd in Mableton GA about two weeks ago. I setup to make payments according to when I get paid, but the employees were calling me anyways.The employee that called was extremely disrespectful provoking me to come into the store face to face.

Then when I got there, he was determine to play the victim because apparently his unprofessional tactics have never been challenged. Again the day before the payment was due another employee was calling leaving messages .... Nope I'm not paying anything come get your stuff. I specifically told the guy in the store, I'm not going to deal with them because of their improper recording keeping.

Now after three days late after the payment was due I am receiving threats that they are going to report to the police that I am stealing their property.

News flash, I have the text messages that proves they are complete liars.

I will be bringing charges against Rent a Center for harassment and defamation.

These employees are not suited to run anyone's business and they should ensure that they know the law before making threats. Bad thing was, I was going to pay the entire balance of the merchandise out right lol, oops bet they didn't know that.....I can take my money somewhere else.

This is a joke right? Read the Contract and and Rental Agreement you chose to sign.

You chose to default on the Contract and now you want payments back? Also remember you never "owned" the phone to begin with.

You chose to "lease" it. What could possibly compel you to think you are entitled to refunds of payments?
