We called that number and still haven't heard a word from the claim adjuster! We contacted a lawyer yesterday who will be over seeing our case!!!

We only wanted our home bed bug free and for RAC to cover the cost of new beds for my family!!!! My daughter has an immune system disorder and this is so unsafe for her to be in this environment!

I would give it a o if I could I went to 2182 N main Rent A center. Everything started out peachy, polite employees working...that day. After a few payments I had a worker call me EARLY, before my payment was due demanding a payment. I told the man It wasn't due. he then said I was late, I argued with him and finally he said basically whatever. He called back the next day again, was rude again. When I called to make a payment I told a worker to never have him call me again because of his rudeness. Well last payment comes, we paid everything within 60 days, A man demanded 150, when we owed 52. when I told him no he said one second and put me on hold. I was then transferred without being told to accounting I guess. this guy said we owed 75. I argued and after an hr called back and talked to management which instead of explaining, being polite he said its 75 I see that on my screen. I told him he's wrong. He says "maybe they messed up on your original quote" he just said "uhhh" when I told him mess up or not since its a contract they have to honor it. I ended up having to pay their increased amount since he wouldn't talk about it. I'm paid off and I will NEVER go back. I tell all people if you want to avoid harassment before payments are due DO NOT go to this business. Liars, cheats, and disrespectful.

I am currently about 3 weeks late. I have tried making payment over the phone that they would not accept. I also asked for my payoff so my bank can send over a cashier's check for the full amount owed. They stated they wanted a crazy amount just for a payment and never received my pay off amount. They have also called my grandmother's hospital room today trying to get in contact with me. Calling all my neighbors and my 10 yr old son. Threatening me to drop of my items that I want to pay off. They are harrassing me and my family. I need to speak to someone fast.

There are many ways to make payments to Rent-A-Center, including over the phone or in person. You can also use our online system, ePay if it is more convenient for you. In order to use ePay, you'll need to create an online account with us, using the same E-mail address that you gave to the store, and then go into your account to set up your rental agreement for online payments.

Please remember the email that you're using for ePay has to match the email the store has on their records for you. You can also give us a call at 1-80*-***-****, and we'd be more than happy to assist you!

My online access says I must contact the store. I am trying to get a payoff and get away from this *** company.

And another question why does your company think it is ok to call a family members hospital room for a debt? This is way over harassment. I don't want to make a regular payment I need to get a payoff so my bank can make a cashier's check to company. The only feed back I am getting is pay with dwbit card or bring the items back.

What is a corporate number I can talk to about helping me with issue and taking my account out of the stores hands. I am on the edge of contacting my lawyer for harrassment.

I think contacting a lawyer is a real good idea.How dare they call your grandmas hospital room about this.And what is with them calling a 10 year old minor.And calling all your neighbors.People sometimes do not even know their neighbors anymore so they could be calling a stranger you do not even know.If they ever called me about someone I would tell them where to stick it.And to top it off they will not even let you pay off your balance.Oh Yes I say lawyer up you have a really good case.Ka -Ching

My messed up IPad 2

I got an IPad 2 through Rent a Center, it worked great, picked up wifi where ever you went, then I got a crack in the screen, no problem, I sent it back while was still under warrantee. Almost a month later it came back, I could barely get wifi at all, this happened 5 more times, and each time they said nothing wrong, reset it, I'd do a complete reboot and still nothing. I found I have to hold the home button in order for me to get wifi, even if I'm in the same room as the router. I can't do anything now because I stupidly paid it off and I have a lovely, yet expensive mp3 player

Rent a center on waterbury ct has the nerves to take picture of my car my kids and me we where park doing something to my car and fast and quick we where been harass by employer name Chris....he made false accusations about he hit the van mean while we where never on the car....he spoke to the owners from the house and still had to take pictures of us they are ridiculous they go thru my mail they broke one my house windows they harass u in or type of ways.... I am very displeased with RAC. We sent our TV in for an Up Date and we were told it would be a week before we got it back and that they would call us. The TV after being updated sat at the store for two weeks. When we asked about our TV the guy said oh it looks like we've had it for a while I don't know why no one told you about it. We set up a time for it to be delivered between 3-6PM. Now we live less then a mile away form the store so you wouldn't think this to be a problem. As its getting closer to 6 and there is still no sign of our TV we call. Oh it will be there before 8. I actually had things to do not wait around half the day for you guys to just decide to actually deliver the TV. Now it wouldn't be so bad if this was the first time that this has happened but it's not.

Most of the people that has a issue with rent a center are the ones who can't pay on time thats why you get all of the calls and of course if you cant afford to pay for the merchandise the will come and get their stuff as it says in the agreement and as far as the prices its all on the tag 90 days and full term its not their fault if you can't read whats right in front of you

That's fine that you think that but I have been a customer for 3 years. Bought a living room set- paid off, kitchen table-paid off, tv and soundbar- paid off, and I have 2 Note 4s and a laptop from them right now. Paying isn't the problem, the lack of service and understanding from the idiots who run the store is the problem.

Rent a center gets a bad name due to the trash they are forced to help 50% of the low life's that go in to rent something ends up stealing or trying to steal the merchandise that rent a center was kind enough to let them get it when he/she has been turned down by everyone else do to no money or bad credit maybe rent a center wouldn't have such a bad reputation if they would raise standards and quit renting to every broke *** with a I.d and job

That's funny I'm not a *** and they screwed me. I paid cash for my sectional and it had bed bugs in it, now they won't come get it or make it right with me.

I own my home and have a good job and this is the first time I've ever dealt with anything like this and it's because I went to rent a center. Sounds like u work there or have a spouse that does.

That's funny cuz I used to work there and they suck. Even if you pay on time they will call you on the day you're due until you answer or pay.

They made me call people who weren't even late like five or six times on their due date but in the training they say you can only call once a day. That way if they get sued they can say that they said only to call once.

I got a call from someone from rent a center I had 2 phones I was paying on but one got stolen I turned in police report but yet I still have to pay it off which I don't think it's right.the other phone I still had but got broken so I said I would pay it off but I don't appreciate them threatening to,cause me to lose my job.I won't hesitate to get my lawyer if it comes to that which I don't want it too but the guy did not have to be so rude now I see why this store seems to be losing business

Rent a center refused payment I filled out app played biweekly wanted no thou pay they set up payment on my off week so they could charge $15 late fee the gm Beth refused to fix this issue saying it's a privilege to have Monday due date really MOM since when can a company tell it's customer s when they can pay such nonsense never in my life,I was threatened with jail and cops well I called the cops when they refused to leave my house filed trespassing charges on them it's civil case not saying they can't sue you but never can they have you arrested for a credit situation,stop the bullying stand up

I bought a couch from rac in Logan , Oh and a few weeks later my kids started getting bites on their bodies. The bites were from bed bugs! We contacted them and they said there was nothing they could do for us. I told them I was calling the health department on them and they said that the health department is there all the time, they won't come get couch, they won't give me a refund.i will never buy there again and I recommend no one else does either! I've spent hundreds of $ since getting rid of the bugs and now have a couch sitting in my yard

That’s not what we like to hear! We want to assure you that we follow all state guidelines to clean and sanitize our mattresses. All merchandise is physically inspected for before leaving the store. If something is ever found to have bed bugs, we would destroy it immediately, and our customers would never be at risk for renting it.

That's bs. Contact their District Manager and file a complaint.

Health Dept dont show up to any RAC unless someone made a complaint to the health dept. If the district manager doesnt help you out getting another couch, contact RAC corporate and file a complaint.

I work for RAC and I know that most of the times used couches or mattresses dont get sterilized until corporate shows up at a store because of a complain. So what they do is call the other stores to give them a warning so they could sterile the merchandise and update the log sheet.

Rent-A-Center is ridiculous. I've been making payments early. I called them advance to let them know that I could not make on time and only half the payment. He agreed. Couple days later RAC calls my family harassing them, very rude to my family. So, I call RAC to see what the problem is. Representative says they have the have wrong number and the last representative never wrote are agreement down. Now, I have a new agreement. On the same day, RAC comes to my house to pick up my lab top. So, I called RAC back wanting to know what was going on. She said the driver didn't know. BTW, I was at work this whole time. I will never go back to RAC.
